Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Burberry. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store's back of house, ensuring excellent service is provided to store staff, and maintaining effective communication with departments and external providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in implementing procedures to streamline and safeguard the store, ensuring compliance with store and company administration systems and procedures.
  • Effectively utilize space and stock in the back of house to maximize productivity and minimize stock loss, while managing the team and resources.
  • Lead the stockroom team, including talent acquisition, development, and nurturing, to drive store standards, productivity, and client experience.
  • Manage aftersales processes, including coordination with on-site tailors/external vendors, to elevate the client experience.
  • Replenish FOH stock and non-stock articles to support the client experience, including packaging, props, and refreshments.
  • Collaborate with Retail Standards and Operations team on store issues, such as deliveries, dispatches, uniforms, facilities, and maintenance.
  • Support the Store Manager in managing Asset and Profit Protection team to reduce shrinkage.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleaning, maintenance, and Health and Safety, including leading local legislation.
  • Manage the cash office/administrator to ensure all cash and payment procedures are followed.
Personal Profile
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a busy team environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to business needs.
  • 1-2 years management experience.
  • Previous administration experience and cash handling experience.
  • Previous experience with SAP desirable.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Passion for technology and ability to embrace new technology.
