About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanic Technician - Sanitary, Heating, and Climate Systems to join our team at the U.S. Air Force – Personalbüro Ramstein Air Base. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems, as well as other related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems, including boilers, chillers, and air handling units.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems, using various diagnostic and testing procedures.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex problems and improve system performance.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship or training program in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems, preferably in a military or industrial setting.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and working at heights.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
