About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanic Technician - Sanitary, Heating, and Climate Systems to join our team at the U.S. Air Force – Personalbüro Ramstein Air Base. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems, as well as other related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems, including boilers, chillers, and air handling units.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems with heating and cooling systems, using a variety of diagnostic and testing tools.
  • Work with a team of technicians and engineers to design and implement new heating and cooling systems, as well as upgrade existing systems.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship or training program in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems.
  • Strong knowledge of heating and cooling systems, including design, installation, and maintenance principles.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, as well as lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
