**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead Payroll Specialist to join our team at Volkswagen Group Retail Deutschland. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for leading a team of 7 employees and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for approximately 500 employees.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of payroll specialists and ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR and finance teams
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax and social security laws
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports and provide insights to management
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Provide training and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a large corporation
- Excellent knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including tax and social security laws
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
