About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Remote's Global Payroll Operations team as a Manager, Payroll Operations. As a dynamic and energetic professional, you will own the planning and implementation of our Payroll chapter, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Payroll team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators, and SLA metrics for the team.
- Manage existing relationships with payroll, accounting, and payroll service providers.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on payroll-related matters.
About the Ideal Candidate
- 7+ years of experience in regional/global payroll operations.
- Understanding of global payroll best practices.
- Experience in implementing payroll in multiple countries and managing relationships with third-party payroll services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for managing people and improving processes.
- Proficient in using software tools like SAP, Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
