We are seeking a full-time and permanent Senior Research Technical Specialist (m/f/d) in Chemical Analytics for our Chemistry division at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine analysis of various components utilizing a diverse array of techniques as part of multiple breeding initiatives (HPLC; HPLC-MS; GC; GC-MS)
  • Innovate and implement new analytical techniques in the domain of food components, protein, and flavor assessment
  • Develop, evaluate, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Formulate, document, and execute method validation processes
  • Prepare protocols for sample preparation
  • Maintain documentation of analytical activities in compliance with ISO 17025 standards
  • Operate within biochemical facilities (S1 laboratory)

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, food chemistry, biochemistry, or related disciplines
  • Specializations in food, flavor, or protein analysis are advantageous
  • In-depth knowledge of contemporary chemical analysis techniques, particularly chromatography
  • Experience in genetic engineering (S1 project management) is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Chromatography Data Systems (CDS)
  • Strong teamwork skills, with an ability to work independently and in an organized manner
  • Proficient in both German and English
