Internship Opportunity in IT and Data Division

EUMETSAT is seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to join our IT and Data Division. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a challenging project that involves implementing a monitoring system for our Near Real Time System using the ELK stack.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and configure the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) for the Near Real Time System
  • Design and implement Logstash pipelines for data ingestion and processing
  • Create and customize Kibana dashboards for visualization and monitoring of system metrics
  • Test the monitoring system and document the setup and configuration process
Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and programming
  • Ability to work effectively in English
  • Computer literacy
  • Intrinsic motivation and curiosity about the internship subject
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
