Electronics Installation and Maintenance Specialist

M.C. Dean is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Electronics Installation and Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, as well as locksmith duties, performing preventive maintenance requirements, inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Lead teams on small to moderately complex installation projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Conduct and document daily tool box talks to ensure team members are aware of project requirements and expectations.
- Install all head end equipment at both the local and global level, following design packages and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Program head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and isolate both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level, using advanced diagnostic techniques and tools.
- Provide on-site software commissioning and testing, ensuring systems meet company standards and customer requirements.
- Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Active Secret Clearance is required, and applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
- Education: High School diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours), or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship program.
- Required Progressive Experience: 8-10 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs, with 3 years focused in electronic security systems and locksmith experience.
- Strong Oral, Written, and Presentation Skills, with demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
- Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Skills a plus.
- Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems.
- Experience with Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems, and certifications.
- At least 5 years of experience with LKM or GSA.
- Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period.
- Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
- Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders.
- Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
- Possesses good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
- May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
