Job Summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a highly skilled AV Systems Installation Technician to join our team. As an AV Systems Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of audio visual systems in various facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and test audio visual systems, including mechanical assembly, wiring, and installation of AV equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of AV systems during installation and ongoing support.
  • Install fiber optic cable and network cabling, and ensure proper cable dressing and documentation.
  • Provide operational training to customer personnel on AV systems.
  • Work in a team environment to lead and support other technicians in the installation and maintenance of AV systems.
Requirements
  • Active passport
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in installation and/or maintenance of audio/visual systems
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Active Secret clearance or eligibility for clearance
  • Experience as a Lead Technician/Foreman leading a team of technicians installing AV systems
Desired Qualifications
  • Avixa CTS, Avixa CTS-I, Crestron CTI technician, Extron AV Associate Certification
  • 10 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
  • Understanding of electronic circuit testing procedures and testing devices
  • Experience using Volt/AMP meter and related
Physical Demands
  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time
  • Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis
Working Conditions

The AV Systems Installation Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel to customer sites. The position requires the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
