Advanced Electronics Maintenance Specialist

Position Overview
As an integral member of our team, you will oversee the installation and upkeep of electronic security systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your role will encompass preventive maintenance tasks, along with thorough inspections and evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams on moderately complex installation projects.
- Conduct and document daily safety briefings.
- Install all head-end equipment according to design specifications at both local and global levels.
- Program head-end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems.
- Troubleshoot and isolate issues with systems and hardware on various levels.
- Provide on-site software commissioning and testing.
- Perform inspections, evaluations, and maintain inventory.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle may be necessary; candidates must have an acceptable driving record.
- Education: High School diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours); or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program; or completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship program; or three (3) additional years of relevant electronics installation and/or maintenance experience.
- Experience: 6-8 years in electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems, with at least 3 years focused on electronic security systems.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vendor certifications in various IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems.
- Experience with Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, Aiphone Intercom Systems, and related operating systems.
Physical Abilities:
- Ability to lift at least 100 pounds and carry 60 pounds for extended periods.
- Capable of relocating a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 60 feet and maintaining balance on various types of ladders.
- Engage in physical activities such as walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, and reaching overhead regularly.
- Possess good vision (correctable) and the ability to hear and communicate effectively in English.
- Recognize potential issues before they escalate and apply general rules to specific problems.
- Ability to synthesize information to form conclusions.
