About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data Science and Innovation to join our team at Zalando GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our data science team and driving innovation in the field of customer relationship management (CRM).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of data scientists and engineers to develop and implement data-driven solutions for CRM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth.
  • Design and implement experiments to measure the effectiveness of CRM initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers and their behavior.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in data science and machine learning.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of driving innovation and growth.
  • Strong technical skills in machine learning, data engineering, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with large datasets and developing scalable data solutions.
