Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Logistics Manager to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in transportation management and logistics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring carrier performance, tracking service and quality performances, and acting as a single point of interface for internal and external customers.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

About the Role

  • Monitor carriers' performance and service levels for all product categories distributed locally.
  • Track and report service and quality performances and claims.
  • Act as a single point interface for both internal and external customers, developing and improving transportation methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Owns the local transportation cost budget and performs cost analysis on transportation expenses.

About You

  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in transportation management / in organized logistics sector.
  • Proved knowledge of Transportation and Logistics industry.
  • Analytical, facts and figures decision based.
  • Ideally candidate should come from company with large omnichannel (WHOLESALE, RETAIL, ECOM) business distribution.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient using MS Office.
  • Available for Business trips.
  • Experience of stakeholder management in a complex global environment.
  • Good communicator across all levels both towards internal stakeholder and external Suppliers.
  • Demonstrable problem solving skills with an ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
  • Excellent self-management practices.
  • Proactive, energetic and committed.
  • Flexible, adaptable and pragmatic.
