Product Innovation Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Innovation Director to join our team at Visa. As a key member of our digital identity solutions team, you will play a critical role in shaping our product roadmap and driving innovation in the payments industry.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to Payments Strategy: Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive payments strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
- Develop Business Cases: Create and present compelling business cases for new product initiatives, including market analysis, competitive landscape, and financial projections.
- Prioritize Themes and Epics: Work with our product management team to prioritize themes and epics that align with our business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Own Key EU/UK Product Pilot Initiative Workstreams: Lead the development and execution of key product pilot initiatives in the EU and UK markets, including ID wallet integrations with Visa's payment platforms.
- Drive ID Wallet Integrations: Collaborate with our technical teams to drive ID wallet integrations with Visa's payment platforms, ensuring seamless and secure transactions.
- Work with Clients and Partners: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive edge.
- Partner with Design and Tech Teams: Collaborate with our design and tech teams to create best-in-class trusted products and user experiences that meet the needs of our customers.
- Manage EU/UK Digital Identity Product Backlog: Oversee the development and prioritization of our EU/UK digital identity product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Define Pilot Go-to-Market Strategies: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product pilots, including market analysis, competitive landscape, and financial projections.
- Own Pilot Execution Runway: Lead the execution of pilot initiatives, including client and partner contracting, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Evaluate and Improve OKRs: Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (OKRs) for pilot initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive success.
- Produce Various Assets: Create and present various assets, including product positioning, product sheets, and presentations, to support business cases and product launches.
- Champion Visa's Digital Identity Solutions: Promote and champion Visa's digital identity solutions internally and externally, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Follow Market Trends: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competition, regulation, emerging technologies, and potential disruptive forces, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Drive Thought Leadership and Innovation: Develop and propose new product concepts and breakthrough features that drive innovation and growth in the payments industry.
- Identify Opportunities for Strategic Partnerships: Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and alliances that drive business growth and innovation.
- Product Management Experience: Proven experience in product management, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and innovation in the payments industry.
- Commercial Experience: Commercial experience across SaaS, Fintech, and payments IAM, with a strong understanding of B2B and B2C markets.
- Technical Knowledge: Sound technical knowledge of trust service technologies, including ID&V, risk & fraud, payments authentication, data & AI, consent & privacy management.
- Standards-Based Payments and Identity Solutions: Experience with standards-based payments and identity solutions implementation, including 3DS, FIDO, SSO, EMVCo, and others.
- New Product Development: Proven experience in new product development across open banking, wallet, card schemes, and eID solutions for online and POS payments.
- Agile Working Methodologies: Experience working in agile teams, with a strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies.
- Change Leadership: Proven ability to lead change and drive innovation in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Technical Partnership and Contract Management: Strong background in technical partnership and contract management, with a strong understanding of contract negotiation and management.
- English Proficiency: English proficiency is required, with German optional.
