At METRO AG, we are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Security Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Cyber Security department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive security architecture that aligns with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic security architecture that enables the development of business capabilities and protects our information and digital ecosystem.
- Support METRO's business objectives by identifying and mitigating IT risks, and ensuring the security of our systems and data.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and IT Architecture teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of security strategies.
- Communicate security architecture strategies and principles to IT teams and ensure understanding within the CISO team.
- Identify business and technical security requirements, design security controls, and provide guidance on testing their effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations on security tools and technologies, and anticipate IT risks to ensure timely action.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IS architecture documents, including operational, systems, and technical views of security architecture.
- Completed degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security with around 5-10 years of experience.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture principles and practices.
- Ability to collaborate with global Enterprise Architecture teams.
- Expertise in designing and proposing security controls to address business and technical requirements.
- Knowledge of security control testing and effectiveness assessment.
- Proficiency in risk management, including the ability to identify and quantify IT risks.
- Fluent English is mandatory, other European languages are considered a plus.
- Part of an international and experienced team with a high degree of personal responsibility and independence in a friendly, highly dynamic, and proactive environment.
- Gain insight into the management holding of an international, listed retail group and work operationally on challenging projects.

Please note that all job opportunities at METRO AG require that you live in/move to Germany and can be in office in Düsseldorf at least 2 times per week. We don't offer 100% remote opportunities.
