Electronics Systems Installation and Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Systems Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, as well as locksmith duties, performing preventive maintenance requirements, inspections, evaluations, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams on small to moderately complex installation projects
  • Conduct and document daily tool box talks
  • Install all head end equipment at both the local and global level per design packages
  • Program head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems
  • Troubleshoot and isolate both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level
  • Provide on-site software commissioning and testing
  • Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance is required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Education: HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training, or Electronics Technician program
  • 8-10 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
  • Strong Oral, Written, and Presentation Skills
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives

Desired Qualifications

  • Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems
  • Experience with LKM or GSA

Physical Abilities/Requirements

  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period
  • Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders
