Electronics Systems Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled Electronics Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance requirements, and conducting inspections and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams on small to moderately complex installation projects.
  • Conduct and document daily tool box talks.
  • Install head end equipment at both local and global levels per design packages.
  • Program head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate systems and/or hardware at local and global levels.
  • Provide on-site software commissioning and testing.
  • Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle may be required.
  • Education: HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training, or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program.
  • 6-8 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance experience, with 3 years focused on electronic security systems.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
  • Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems.
  • Experience with Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, Aiphone Intercom Systems, and Windows operating systems.

Abilities

  • Lift at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period.
  • Relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
  • Work at various heights up to 60 feet and climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and ladders.
  • Walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
  • Good vision, ability to see in color, and ability to hear and communicate in English.
  • Use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
