Warehouse Operations Manager

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Outbound picking, packing, shipments and warehouse planning departments at Knuspr.

This role requires a leader who can define processes, procedures, and systems necessary to support and sustain the company's long-term growth.

  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce operational policies and procedures to ensure on-time delivery of outbound shipments.
  • Drive the process to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and accuracy.
  • Implement quality, safety and efficiency measures through employee involvement and teamwork.
  • Schedule and assign work to meet warehouse operational requirements.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through audits and preventive actions.
  • Comply with warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements.
  • Direct the maintenance of physical conditions and appearance of the warehouse and maintain 5S standards.
  • Recruit, select and train employees to meet business needs.
  • Develop employee performance through appraisals, coaching and counseling.
  • Establish and enforce safety practices.
  • Experience in a leadership position within a warehouse environment within E-commerce and FMCG is essential.

Proficiency in WMS, Lean and Six Sigma is a plus.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships in a Fulfilment Centre.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Outlook and Excel, and WMS systems is required.

  • Good cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize and schedule tasks for efficient use of time.
  • Knowledgeable on safety practices and 5S best practices.
  • Understanding of pick/pack/ship operations in high-volume warehouse environments.
  • WMS implementation background is a plus.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven individual.
