Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for planning, completing, and performing complex project assignments in the area of mechanical/electrical engineering design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare detailed designs and specifications for bidding action
  • Conduct life cycle cost analysis to establish and maintain a predictive maintenance schedule
  • Perform contract management duties, including COR and technical oversight
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to coordinate designs and integrate specifications

Requirements:

  • Education: Meister Diploma or Staatlich geprüfter Techniker in a trades or crafts field directly related to the position
  • Experience: 2-3 years of job-related experience as a technician, instructor, inspector, or mechanic
  • Language proficiency: English Language Proficiency level B2 and German Language Proficiency level C1
