Job Summary:
The Digital IT Operations Specialist is responsible for providing second-line investigation and diagnosis, installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. The position holder acts as the second point of escalation for the resolution of desktop or laptop related incidents, service requests, and connectivity issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support across the company, responding to service issues and requests in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and asset management.
- Assist and work closely with the IT security team on security issues and virus eradication efforts.
- Comply with IT standard processes and procedures, maintaining a professional working area.
Requirements:
- BS or equivalent in Information Technology related field, or prior formal technical training in relevant technical areas.
- Experience in on-site support, supporting multiple operating systems.
- Technical skills in Microsoft PC applications, PC hardware and software support, and troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills, good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Fluency in German and English, willingness to work flexible hours.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, work under pressure, and communicate effectively.
