Finance Manager, Private Equity Fund Specialist, Germany

PER, Private Equity Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our client's team in Munich. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, tax advisory, or a private equity firm, with excellent accounting expertise and a solid understanding of German tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage all financial processes for the client's entities, ensuring compliance with reporting standards and external audit regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and ensure BaFin-compliant documentation of processes.
- Support payroll and other HR matters, as well as coordinate and support ESG reporting.
- Collaborate with the fund administrator to prepare analyses and materials for investor reporting, including portfolio valuations in line with IPEV valuation guidelines.
- Provide excellent English and German skills, both written and spoken, and proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a few years of relevant professional experience, a university degree in business administration, and strong affinity for numbers and an analytical approach. Additionally, they will possess a willingness for continuous professional development, team spirit, reliability, accuracy, and an independent work style.
