Role Overview:
The Delivery Partner Executive serves as a dual-role advisor and operational collaborator for Delivery Service Partners (DSPs). This position is crucial in supporting DSP business owners as they establish and expand their last-mile delivery operations within Amazon Logistics (AMZL).

Key Responsibilities:
The Delivery Partner Executive will initiate new business ventures while upholding the standards of excellence that our partners aspire to achieve. They will provide guidance on enhancing business operations and work closely with Regional On The Road (OTR) managers to facilitate the transition of responsibilities related to planning and DSP capabilities.

The regional Delivery Partner Executive is responsible for identifying and executing value-creation opportunities, managing DSP relationships throughout the business lifecycle, and focusing on areas such as DSP sentiment, safety, compliance, performance, and dependable capacity.

Advisory Role:
As trusted advisors, Delivery Partner Executives collaborate with DSPs to address significant challenges at a programmatic level, influence business planning and strategy, and proactively identify potential obstacles while recommending effective solutions. This ensures that DSP owners are empowered to make informed business decisions and achieve success while delivering quality service.

Collaboration and Support:
The Delivery Partner Executive will engage with a diverse portfolio of owners at various stages of their business journey, assisting in strategy formulation, driving accountability, and tracking key performance metrics. They will frequently collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders, including Partner Relations (PAR), Value Added Service (VAS), Legal, fleet, and network health.

Operational Excellence:
Support for owners includes removing barriers and enhancing financial, operational, and safety practices at the network level. The Delivery Partner Executive will implement Monitoring and Enforcement Policies (MEP) and establish two-way feedback channels with OTR teams, DSPs, and WW/EU Product and Strategy.

Travel Requirements:
This role requires flexibility and significant travel between multiple sites to effectively engage with business owners on a weekly basis. It is a field-based position.

Safety and Performance:
Collaboration with OTR Safety and Regional Managers is essential to ensure compliance with safety standards. The Delivery Partner Executive will guide owners in scaling their operations and managing operational challenges, ensuring they have the necessary resources for effective ramp-up during peak periods.

Experience and Relationship Development:
Identifying workflow inefficiencies and implementing operational improvements at the network level is key, as is fostering the relationship between Amazon and DSP partners to enhance DSP sentiment. Effective communication with DSP business owners will follow close collaboration with OTR partners.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Representing the voice of the DSP within the AMZL business.
  • Coaching and ensuring effective utilization of tools.
  • Conducting deep dives to identify opportunities for customer metric improvements.
  • Championing the consistent application of Last Mile processes within Delivery Stations.
  • Enhancing driver standards to protect brand integrity.

Work Environment:
Being based on-site allows for close oversight of the delivery process, ensuring visibility into all aspects to guide logistics partners effectively. Daily communication with managed partners is vital to ensure they have the resources needed for timely deliveries.
