Delivery Partner Executive

Role Overview:
The Delivery Partner Executive serves as a crucial advisor and operational collaborator for Delivery Service Partners (DSPs). This position is integral to supporting DSP business owners in establishing and expanding their last-mile delivery operations within Amazon Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advisory Role: Act as a trusted advisor to DSP owners, guiding them in overcoming challenges and enhancing their business strategies.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Regional On The Road (OTR) managers to ensure seamless execution of planning and DSP capabilities.
  • Value Creation: Identify and implement opportunities for value creation throughout the DSP lifecycle, focusing on sentiment, safety, compliance, and performance.
  • Performance Management: Assist owners in scaling their operations, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources for peak periods.
  • Relationship Development: Foster strong relationships between Amazon and DSP partners, enhancing overall DSP sentiment.

Daily Activities:
In this field-based role, you will engage regularly with business owners to ensure they have the support needed for timely deliveries. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining open lines of communication with DSPs to monitor performance and address any operational issues.
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new DSPs and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Conducting in-depth analyses to identify areas for operational improvement and enhance the DSP owner experience.

Collaboration:
Work closely with various internal stakeholders, including Partner Relations, Value Added Services, and Legal teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to DSP management.

Travel Requirements:
This role necessitates frequent travel to engage with business owners across multiple sites, ensuring effective relationship management and operational oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in operations, last-mile logistics, or account management.
  • Proven analytical skills with a history of leveraging data to solve operational challenges.
  • Fluency in English and German (C1+ level).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adept at project planning in dynamic environments.
