Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our ECLIPSE Product Development team in one of our European offices. This role can be based in Germany, Italy, France, or the Czech Republic. As a Software Development Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development of software projects, leading a team to success, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of software developers by providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Manage the software development process, including setting goals, creating timelines, and monitoring progress.
- Collaborate with other team leads, product owners/stakeholders, and project managers to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, review code, and ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Provide technical expertise and help drive innovation within the team.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve the team's processes and performance.
- Several years of experience in software development, with a focus on leading teams and projects.
- Experience in Web Application Development with JEE and Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, JSP, Servlet.
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Struts, and Lucene.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as jQuery and Angular.
- Experience with Relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control systems.
- Strong analytical and object-oriented design capabilities.
- Effective English written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support team members.
