Inkjet and Chemical Development Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled R&D Team Lead to join our team at Heraeus Printed Electronics. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of experts in chemistry and inkjet development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of chemists and inkjet experts in the development of new inkjet inks and formulations for the semiconductor industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project development and implementation.
  • Develop and implement agile working methods in chemical development.
  • Document research results and draft patents.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in inkjet technology.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the industry, including management experience, in the field of advanced semiconductor packaging or power electronics.
  • Completed scientific studies with a focus on chemistry.
  • Many years of experience in the use of inkjet inks in an industrial environment.
  • Very good knowledge in the field of formulation of inkjet printable inks as well as in the analysis of cured / sintered layers.
  • Application-oriented ink benchmarking as well as market overview and contacts to ink manufacturers.
  • Experience with different industrial print heads.
  • Agile project management, customer-oriented mindset, ambitious start-up mentality.
  • Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
