Job Title: Fire Risk Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Risk Consultant to join our team in Clark, New Jersey. As a Fire Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical consulting services to various clients.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire safety and risk management, with excellent communication and analytical skills. You will work closely with clients to identify potential fire hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive loss control surveys for prospects and clients
  • Prepare detailed reports using established formats
  • Serve as an account consultant, working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions
  • Participate in account service teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Maintain client satisfaction by meeting service quality levels, adhering to time frames, and staying within budgets
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A four-year college degree or five plus years of similar professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starting attitude with a positive outlook and motivated mindset
  • Technical competence to discuss all core services with at least one area of specialized expertise
  • Ability to communicate on a like level with risk management personnel
Working Environment:

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Frequently lifting, carrying, or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Typically bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling to view settings on machinery or inspect facilities
  • Climbing ladders of up to three stories tall or more, opening hatches, and physically dislodging corroded parts
  • Traversing catwalks and constantly moving above clients' work sites to gather information

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
