Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Control Consultant to join our team in Risk Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting surveys of clients' facilities to evaluate fire and associated perils, and providing recommendations to reduce the likelihood of losses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct loss control surveys for prospects and clients as assigned
  • Provide peer review of client reports and correspondence
  • Assist with or complete training of other consultants
  • Make presentations to clients, industry groups, or the public
Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree in an engineering curriculum combined with five years' loss control industry-specific experience, or a combination of seven years' loss control industry specific experience in combination with heavy-industrial and/or military engineering training
  • Experience in servicing major accounts in either a preferred-consultant capacity or as an Account Engineer
  • Ability and knowledge to train other consultants
  • Advanced technical writing skills
  • Possess advanced technical skills such as electrical, mechanical, or industry-specific specialization
