Position DetailsWe are seeking a highly accomplished scholar with a solid record of academic achievements, management experience, and a deep understanding of research grant processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the German and international academic landscapes and a proven track record of working in international academic environments or partnerships.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead the academic operations, including three focal areas and their faculties, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and research excellence.
- Promote research excellence and innovation, facilitating collaborations with external partners.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the educational experience for students, including curriculum development, advising, and support services.
- Enhance the quality of the student body and build partnerships with external stakeholders to promote the university's reputation and impact.
- Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all academic activities.
- Established scholar with a solid record of academic achievements and management experience.
- Extensive managerial experience in academically-shaped and complex R&D-areas or major international projects.
- Experience in the implementation of entrepreneurial strategies in heterogeneous contexts.
- Affinity with digitalization processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English, with the ability to articulate the university's vision and goals to diverse audiences.
The estimated annual salary for this position is €120,000 - €150,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package, pension plan, and generous paid time off.
