RAPP Berlin is a leading precision marketing agency that champions individuality and adaptability in its marketing solutions. With a team of superconnectors who leverage data, creativity, technology, and empathy to drive client growth, we're seeking a Chief Analytics Strategist to join our award-winning Marketing Sciences team.

This role involves overseeing the analytics strategy and insights across client engagements, leading efforts to inform, measure, and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels. As a Director of Data, you will lead a team of analysts, collaborate with cross-functional agency leaders, and engage directly with senior clients to drive data-driven decision-making and achieve exceptional results.

The ideal candidate for this position has 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with at least 3 years in an advertising/marketing agency. They should have a strong understanding of database marketing principles and database structures, as well as proficiency in statistical analysis, marketing mathematical rigor, test-and-learn plans, and ROI. Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, and management skills are also essential.

In terms of responsibilities, the Chief Analytics Strategist will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, scoping, proposing, and directing the application of analytical services for RAPP clients.
  • Designing and recommending analytic methodologies and approaches to meet client goals.
  • Developing phased roadmaps to enhance clients' analytical sophistication over time.
  • Leading a team of analytics professionals to analyze quantitative data, inform business rules, establish meaningful KPIs, and provide insightful reporting.
  • Developing predictive analytic solutions and applying machine learning and AI to support the analytics strategy.
  • Authoring POVs and other intellectual properties on recent trends in marketing analytics and data-driven marketing.
  • Codifying best practices, creating case studies, sharing methodologies, and defining new standards in collaboration with the RAPP network team.
  • Participating in new business pitches, including team leadership, content creation, and in-room presentations.
  • Overseeing staff development plans, providing feedback, performance evaluations, coaching, and training for direct reports.
