1KOMMA5° is revolutionizing the energy sector by creating Germany's premier one-stop shop for solar, heat pumps, electricity, and charging infrastructure. We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Working Student (Frontend or Fullstack) to join our dynamic tech team.

As part of a cross-functional team focused on the B2C domain, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions for our customers. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience of our Heartbeat App and the underlying backend services that power our platform.

Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to bring innovative ideas to life.
  • Research, evaluate, implement, and deploy software solutions for our core customer-facing products.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of business-critical applications.
  • Conduct A/B experiments to optimize website performance and drive lead conversion rates.
  • Take ownership of features from conception to completion, ensuring high quality and user satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Your Skills
  • Currently enrolled in a university program, dedicating 20 hours per week to this role.
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing reliable frontend services using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Familiarity with Vercel, and Flutter is a plus.
  • Passionate about writing clean, maintainable, documented, reusable, and testable code.
  • Driven to enhance user experience and contribute to customer success.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software engineering trends and best practices.
  • Possess an agile mindset, a results-oriented approach, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. German language proficiency is beneficial.
