Data Governance Expertise for Precision Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Governance Expert to join our dynamic team dedicated to transforming healthcare data into actionable insights. As a key member of our team, you will define, drive, and govern the biobanking data domain on a global scale, ensuring data quality, compliance, and sustainability to support the advancement of precision medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks to ensure alignment with FAIR principles and facilitate easy data consumption across the value chain.
  • Translate biobank contracts into operational tasks to maintain compliance throughout the data lifecycle, supporting negotiations with external data providers and advising senior management and legal teams.
  • Manage relationships with various stakeholders, providing guidance and acting as a decision-making authority, driving operational governance and setting quality and performance standards.
  • Lead research proposals to data providers, ensuring operational adherence to data governance principles, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Health Business, Health Sciences, or Computer Sciences, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in Business Transformation/Digitalization within the healthcare sector.
  • Hands-on expertise with healthcare data domains and standards (e.g., OMOP, FHIR, FAIR) and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, GxP, CCPA, IDMP).
  • Strong project and process management skills, including experience in change management and leading project teams.
  • Excellent negotiation and influence skills within a matrix and cross-functional organisation.
