About the Role

HelloFresh is seeking a skilled forklift driver to join our team in Barleben, near Magdeburg. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient assembly and distribution of our meal boxes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, as well as transport food and packaging materials within the warehouse.
  • Stock the production provision area, also known as the "supermarket", with the necessary goods.
  • Transport palletized goods to the loading docks for departing trucks.
  • Accurately record each material movement using a handheld scanner.
  • Adhere to strict guidelines for handling food to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Take ownership of productivity and error prevention in your designated work area.
  • Ensure a reliable supply of food pallets or crates to production.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in German or English language.
  • Willingness to work in a shift operation.
  • Ability to work in cold conditions ranging from +2°C to +8°C.
  • High reliability, punctuality, and commitment.
  • A careful handling of food and adherence to relevant regulations.
  • A high awareness of quality, a basic understanding of food quality characteristics, and endurance in product inspection.
  • A valid forklift license and experience in handling forklifts.
