About the Role
HelloFresh is seeking a skilled forklift driver to join our team in Barleben, near Magdeburg. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient assembly of our popular meal boxes.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, as well as transport food and packaging materials within the warehouse.
- Stock the production provision area, also known as the "supermarket".
- Transport palletized goods to the loading docks for departing trucks.
- Accurately record each material movement using a handheld scanner.
- Adhere to strict guidelines for handling food to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Take ownership of productivity and error prevention in your designated work area.
- Ensure a reliable supply of food pallets or crates to production.
Your Profile
- You possess good knowledge of the German or English language.
- You are willing to work in a shift operation.
- You are comfortable working in cold conditions ranging from +2°C to +8°C.
- You bring high reliability, punctuality, and commitment to your work.
- A careful handling of food and adherence to relevant regulations is second nature to you.
- You have a high awareness of quality, a basic understanding of food quality characteristics, and endurance in product inspection.
- You hold a forklift license and have experience in handling forklifts.
