About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Technology Services Senior Specialist to join our team in the Server and Storage area for 3rd level support. The successful candidate will focus on security compliance, operations, and continuous improvement of our backend infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate server hardware and virtualization platforms, ensuring seamless operation and security.
- Collaborate with Architects, Management, and Stakeholders to guarantee the security and operation of our infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise and support for server hardware management, virtualization platforms, and storage technologies.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve infrastructure efficiency and security.
- Work closely with the Backend Operations Team to ensure the security and operation of our infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proficiency in server hardware management, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or other similar technologies.
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and virtualization issues in mid to large environments.
- Familiarity with storage technologies/tools such as NetApp and their integration with virtualized environments.
- Understanding of networking concepts and their application in virtualized environments.
- Strong grasp of security best practices in server and virtualization environments.
