Operations Manager, Global Banking

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Specialist to join our Global Banking team in Frankfurt. As a key member of our Equities Execution Services Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting cash equities transactions executed by our German/Austrian and Swiss Sales desks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships and communicate with clients' Middle Offices and custodians
  • Participate in client calls, meetings, and broker reviews
  • Collaborate closely with Sales & Trading desks to support cash equity business
  • Allocate trades once executed
  • Pre-match trades in a timely manner
  • Resolve trade fails
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience in financial services
  • Proven analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a control mentality/attention to detail
  • Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate on complex issues
  • Highly collaborative and team-focused with ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills along with the ability to use discretion and good judgment
  • Self-motivated and proactive, organized, and able to prioritize effectively
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German is required
  • Fluent French and/or Dutch is a plus
