Business Manager Global Transaction Banking Germany

At Societe Generale, we are looking for a skilled Business Manager to join our team in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate strategic and organizational questions to facilitate effective decision making and execution.
  • Provide strategic advice to the GTB Germany Leadership Team to improve the daily management of the business.
  • Suggest problem resolution approaches and procedures, including procedure maintenance and adaptation as required in close collaboration with Paris HQ.
  • Ensure that you are always on the same page as the GTB Germany Leadership Team and act as a liaison for the team priorities and positions in day-to-day activities.
  • Facilitate smooth and coordinated cross-functional work.
  • Plan and direct all administrative, financial, and operational activities for the business on behalf of the GTB Leadership Team.
  • Act as a point of contact between the different GTB Teams, other businesses, SG Frankfurt Teams and Paris HQ.
  • Coordinate and supervise all regulatory and risk reports as required.
  • Regularly submit reports to the GTB Leadership Team including dashboards.
  • Ensure GTB Germany compliance with SG Frankfurt rules and policies.
  • Ensure respect of GTB Germany governance especially for New Business Committees.
  • Step in as a leader, project manager, and accountable party for key activities as directed by the GTB Germany Leadership Team.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance / Business administration or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of German and international Global Transaction Banking Products & Processes.
  • Experience of working in a comparable department/role.
  • Client-oriented attitude (internally and externally).
  • Profound MS Office skills.
  • Fluency in German and English (written and oral) is essential, French is of advantage.
  • High level of commitment and responsibility.
