We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Graduate Development Program candidate to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Sales Graduate, you will play a key role in supporting our account managers in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Support Sales Growth: Collaborate with account managers to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, ensuring the successful management of our products and services to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Coordinate Sales Processes: Align sales efforts with approved sales and marketing plans, working closely with account managers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Develop Selling Skills: Participate in sales, product, and systems training, as well as marketing campaigns and special projects, to develop the necessary skills to succeed in this role.
- Assist in Negotiations: Support sales managers in negotiations with customers, including the preparation and follow-up of sales quotations.
- Provide Sales Updates: Regularly update team leaders and management on sales numbers, working closely with supported sales managers.
- Maintain Customer Database: Effectively use customer relationship management software (CRM) to maintain and expand the current customer database.
- Education: A degree in Molecular Biology is preferred, but equivalent experience within Life Sciences is also acceptable.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English (minimum B2 required).
- Skills: Excellent time management and prioritization skills, strong communication skills with customers and colleagues, ability to thrive in a successful team, and adapt to a constantly evolving business environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales or other customer-facing roles would be advantageous, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required.
