Senior Energy Storage Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant Energy Storage to join our Energy Storage Northern Europe team at DNV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering technical consultancy services to our clients in the energy storage sector.
Key Responsibilities- Executing consultancy projects on grid-scale energy storage systems, including business case assessments, technical due diligence, independent/owner's engineering, safety reviews, and risk assessments.
- Managing medium-sized and large projects within the team and with other teams.
- Independent business development activities, including generating and handling proposals, extending our external network, and finding project opportunities.
- Preparing and giving presentations at customer meetings and events.
- Tracking and responding to new industry/market developments.
- Building an internal network to gain and share knowledge and opportunities.
- Providing strong input on the team's strategic planning and marketing decisions.
- Master's degree in electrotechnical engineering, sustainable energy technology, or a similar technical study.
- At least 5 years of work experience, preferably related to the energy sector or energy technologies.
- Understanding of the energy transition, the role of energy storage in transmission and distribution systems, and the technical aspects of this role and of various energy storage technologies themselves.
- Strong analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and availability for domestic and international travel.
