Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR leader to join our team as a VP of People and Culture. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our HR strategy, driving talent acquisition and retention, and providing strategic guidance to our management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: You will be responsible for owning the talent acquisition funnel, ensuring high-quality candidates, and working closely with hiring managers to identify and attract top talent.
  • HR Strategy: You will develop and implement our HR strategy, including HR processes, salary and appraisal systems, and other initiatives to drive business growth and success.
  • Sparring Partner: You will provide strategic guidance and support to our management team on HR-related matters, helping them to make informed decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • HR Operations: You will be responsible for executing day-to-day HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in a VC-backed company.
  • Proven track record of driving talent acquisition and retention in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong background in HR generalist with a focus on talent acquisition.
  • Ability to switch between strategic and hands-on work, driving HR topics independently.
  • In-depth understanding of legal frameworks in the HR field, especially in Germany.
  • Fluency in German (C2 level) to communicate with HR stakeholders.
  • Based in Berlin and willing to spend ~60% of working time on-site in our office in Charlottenburg.
