Job Summary:

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge e-beam semiconductor equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, leadership, and technical expertise in the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver complex e-beam technology projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and contingency planning.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria, aligning projects with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure proper product readiness for serial production and drive the related transition(s) of new products into serial production.
  • Lead and develop a small team of highly motivated project managers.
  • Effectively allocate and manage project resources, ensuring that team members have the necessary tools and support to achieve project milestones.
  • Identify and address resource constraints, bottlenecks, and potential risks to project success.
  • Establish clear and effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Align project deliverables of suppliers, engineering projects, and operational sectors to one consolidated plan.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Implement risk monitoring and control mechanisms to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Uphold high standards of quality in project deliverables, ensuring that e-beam technology solutions meet or exceed industry and customer expectations.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in the process of documenting technical best practice and standards for production.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a technical or scientific area with at least 10 years of work experience preferably in project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and management of complex projects and teams in highly dynamic environments.
  • Project Management Certification by PMI, etc. would be an advantage.
  • Capability to review technical designs.
  • Define and leverage processes and teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
  • Change management skills.
  • Excellent Leadership, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Very good communication and presentation skills on multiple organizational levels.
