Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team at Parallel Consulting. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support for our central IT environment and system administration.
  • Deliver 1st and 2nd level support, handling initial acceptance, analysis, and resolution of requests and tickets.
  • Manage the installation, rollout, and commissioning of notebooks and cell phones within a Microsoft environment.
  • Track the status of tickets, ensuring timely resolution based on their priority.
  • Assist meeting room technicians with technical support in our main building.
  • Participate in various projects and support administrative tasks, including Windows 11 migration, Intune integration, and other Microsoft product implementations.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base entries for technical documentation and create guidelines for colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Microsoft Defender.
  • Familiarity with ticket systems and experience in supporting server and network landscapes.
  • Knowledgeable in 1st and 2nd level support, Windows clients, network management, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of IT security topics and an affinity for information security.
  • Experience with software packaging and MDM (Mobile Device Management).
  • Confident user of MS Office products with strong explanatory and advisory skills.
  • Reliable, conscientious, and structured work approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in German; knowledge of English is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic about learning and growing in the IT field.
