Test Engineer Hardware Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer Hardware to join our team at Proemion. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning and developing (semi-)automated production tests, creating test concepts and circuit diagrams, and designing individual test stations and test equipment.

Your primary focus will be on creating and continuously optimizing test procedures, as well as carrying out fault analyses and repairs on assemblies. To succeed in this role, you will need a strong quality mindset, excellent German and English skills, and experience with NI-TestStand.

Requirements
  • Successfully completed education in electronics and further training as an electrical technician/foreman
  • Solid professional experience in test engineering
  • Experience with NI-TestStand
  • Knowledge of the CAN-Bus (ideally)
  • Previous knowledge of various electrical test procedures (desirable)
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably C#, C++ or Visual Basic)
