Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) invites applications for a highly skilled Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineer to join its Institute for Low Carbon Industrial Processes in Cottbus and Zittau.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing industrial demo projects and overseeing all aspects of project implementation. This includes designing and organizing cooperation between departments, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery, and possessing strong business management skills.

We offer a competitive salary of €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is available immediately, with a duration of unlimited employment contract.

About the Institute:

The Institute of Low CO2 Industrial Processes at DLR is expanding its research portfolio to focus on CO2 reduction for industrial processes. Our team works on developing efficient heat pumps for process heat provision, enabling economically viable transformation of industrial processes into low-carbon technologies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, economics, or relevant field
  • Proven expertise in industrial heat supply, project management, and team leadership
  • Knowledge of German and English languages
