**Sales Specialist (f/m/d) - Mining**:

In this position, you will be accountable for sales of electrical system solutions and services for the Mining industry, driving sales volumes and margins. In this role, you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service.

**This position reports to**:
Head of Sales Mining Export

**Your responsibilities**:

- Working with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy
- Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
- Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers
- Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities
- Preparing risk assessments of opportunities, customer meetings, visit reports
- Performing business trips, presentations and contract negotiations at customer site
- Monitoring competition and following market trends

**Your background**:

- At least 2 years of experience as electrical engineer in sales, operation, or project management
- Knowledge of material handling process from the mine via conveying to the stockyard would be beneficial
- Knowledge of control philosophy and drive system
- A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
- A degree in Industrial, Electrical or Automation Engineering
- German & English fluent
