About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our team, playing a critical role in shaping the success of our complex aerospace projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact project outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective risk management strategies, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting project milestones. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain, to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and risks are properly managed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive risk registers, identifying potential risks, and assessing their likelihood and impact
  • Collaborating with project teams to develop and implement risk mitigation plans, ensuring timely execution and monitoring progress
  • Providing regular risk updates to project sponsors and stakeholders, escalating concerns when necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational risk management policies and procedures

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A University degree in a technical field or proven project management experience with a strong focus on risk management
  • Demonstrable experience in managing cross-functional teams and working closely with stakeholders at different levels of the organization
  • Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, and integrated scheduling software
  • The ability to probe and challenge assumptions, think critically, and make informed decisions
