About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Indirect Procurement Specialist to join our procurement team at Sungrow - EMEA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services that are not directly tied to our core product offerings, including office supplies, IT services, marketing materials, and other indirect spending categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Strategy Development: Formulate and execute strategies for the procurement of indirect goods and services to ensure cost-effective and efficient purchasing.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Sales Operations, Service, Legal, IT, Marketing, HR, and Finance to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement process.
  • Budget Management: Manage and track budgets related to indirect procurement, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, spend analysis, and cost savings to senior management.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced procurement professional with a strong background in indirect procurement and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with at least 3 years in indirect procurement.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong negotiation and contract management skills, and proficiency in procurement software and tools. They will also have strong financial and budget management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
