Procurement Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Essity.
Responsibilities
- Procure services across our main office locations for one of our main categories (Professional Services, FM, RnD)
- Oversee the supplier base within your category and lead negotiations across locations, using e-sourcing tools and techniques (RFQ, Ariba)
- Execute procurement tasks according to the global strategy while ensuring high-quality projects and services
- Closely cooperate and align with operational, global procurement, and stakeholders to ensure consistent and efficient implementation of tasks
- Support Business Partnering to drive continuous improvement through cost-saving projects, organizing trials, implementing supplier changes, and tracking savings
- Ensure compliance with Essity procedures, purchasing policy, and financial instructions
Requirements
- University/BA/BS College degree in a relevant field (Business, Economics) and at least 2 years of experience in procurement with demonstrated strategic sourcing competence
- Experience with indirect services (HR, FM, Professional Services) and supporting multi-functional projects in an international work environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, change-rich, complex matrix organization with evolving priorities
- Good knowledge of contract law
- Independent self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and is motivated by delivering high service levels and exceptional results
- Fluent in English (written and oral) is a must, second language preferred
