About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Planning Specialist to join our team at IVY OAK GmbH. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough market analyses to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with the Buying Team to develop category strategies and pricing plans
  • Establish pre-season merchandise financial plans, incorporating key trends and sales drivers
  • Monitor weekly assortment performance and work closely with Sales and Buying to maximize sales and margins
  • Develop and execute strategic promotions in collaboration with Marketing and Sales
  • Identify re-order opportunities and contribute to efficient in-season supply management
  • Continuously evaluate and improve department processes to support business growth
  • Lead the Weekly Trading Meeting, presenting analysis and recommendations
  • Leverage website analytics to drive key KPIs and improve stock productivity
  • Work closely with the E-commerce team to actively trade the site and identify sales opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a comparable relevant qualification
  • 4+ years of experience in merchandise planning, ideally within a direct-to-consumer fashion brand
  • Excellent analytical skills and in-depth product knowledge
  • Strategic thinking and innovative approach to lead and develop merchandise planning and trading
  • Quick-thinking, proactive, and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable, proactive, and open to change, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Effective communication skills in English and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
