About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join our team at Midea Europe GmbH. As a key member of our Heat Pump Development team, you will be responsible for conducting competitor product analysis, operating our heat pump performance testing laboratory, and participating in the entire product lifecycle management process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough competitor product analysis to identify market strengths and weaknesses, informing product development strategies.
  • Operate our state-of-the-art heat pump performance testing laboratory to ensure compliance with safety and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Heat Pump products meet all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Document all work and findings in a clear and concise manner, communicating key insights to team members.
  • Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HVAC work.
  • Fundamental knowledge of heating and hydraulics.
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting.
