Senior R&D Engineer for Heat Pump Innovation

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Engineer to join our team at Midea Europe GmbH. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of new Heat Pump products, from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct competitor product analysis to identify market trends and inform product development strategies
  • Define specifications for heat pumps and lead the design and development process
  • Develop new prototypes and conduct performance testing to ensure safety and performance requirements are met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new technologies, materials, and processes for product development
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • At least 8 years of experience in HVAC work
  • Fundamental knowledge of heating and hydraulics
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting
