About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our Investment Risk Management Team. As a Senior Risk Manager, you will be responsible for establishing a sound risk management framework to support our digital asset activities. This will involve developing and implementing robust risk monitoring mechanisms, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a framework to identify, assess, and mitigate fiduciary risks associated with digital asset products, including issuance, redemption, liquidity management, and market stability.
  • Develop and implement robust risk monitoring mechanisms to track key risk indicators and early warning signals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, finance, compliance, and legal, to implement effective risk management strategies and protocols.
  • Develop risk management trainings to educate stakeholders on risks associated with digital asset solutions.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the fintech or cryptocurrency industry, with experience with stablecoin being a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology and digital/crypto asset markets, associated risks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess complex risks and develop pragmatic solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and programming languages, such as Python, R, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Proven experience in managing big data and automating processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, with German being a plus.
